finally safe presents AI solution at the Digital Summit

This year's Digital Summit will focus on artificial intelligence - therefore, an offer was developed under the name "IT Security and AI" that invites consumers and users to explore everyday AI scenarios.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently a hot topic all over the world - justifiably so, because hardly any other technology will change our world in such a way in the coming years. There are still a few open questions: What should our future with AI look like? What limits do we want to impose on the use of AIs? How can we ensure that we profit from the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and at the same time minimize the risks? The answers to these questions need a broad social discussion.

At the Digital Summit 2018 (December 3 & 4, Nuremberg), the German government announced an AI strategy designed to develop Germany into one of the world's leading digital locations in the coming years. This strategy focuses on science and research, the transfer of innovations to industry, the recruitment of skilled workers and the creation of suitable framework conditions.

To ensure that the goals of the strategy can actually be achieved, an accompanying social discourse is needed: "The development of the AI is progressing dynamically, which means that the implementation of the AI strategy must also be permanently reflected with representatives from science, business, politics and society in order to establish a trusting and innovation-promoting AI culture in Germany." KInsights! is a specific contribution to this discourse and invites consumers and users to address this future topic.

Under the name "IT Security and AI", an informative offer has been developed that invites consumers and users to explore everyday application scenarios for AI. The offer was developed under the direction of Deutschland sicher im Netz (DsiN) with the partners Bankenverband, Deloitte, Ericsson, Microsoft, finally safe, Siemens, Deutsche Telekom and Wegesrand. The offer is also supported by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) and the German Insurance Association (GDV). finally safe presents artificial intelligence for detecting and defending against hackers and suspicious activities in networks.
